During your free consultation, we'll discuss your priorities, the areas you'd like addressed, the current condition of the space, and any special considerations. From there, we'll establish a personalized scope of service and provide customized pricing before services begin.

A Few Things to Know Before We Begin
Specialized & Hazardous Conditions
For the safety of our clients and team, Once Upon a Plan does not provide services requiring specialized licensing, certification, protective equipment, or professional remediation. This includes mold remediation, biohazards, bodily fluids, pest or animal waste/infestations, hazardous chemicals or materials, and similar conditions requiring a specialized provider.
Hoarding-Level Conditions
We are happy to help with everyday clutter and home organization; however, we do not provide hoarding cleanup or services for environments where the volume or condition of belongings creates significant health, sanitation, accessibility, or safety concerns.
Heavy Items & Inaccessible Areas
Our services do not include moving heavy furniture, appliances, or other items that cannot be safely handled by one person. Areas that cannot be safely accessed without specialized equipment may also be excluded from service.
Cabinets, Drawers & Personal Belongings
Interior cabinets, drawers, closets, and similar spaces may be addressed when included in the agreed service. Clients may be asked to remove valuables, medications, sensitive documents, weapons, fragile items, or other personal belongings before service begins.
Exterior & Specialty Services
Residential services focus primarily on the interior of the home. Exterior window cleaning, pressure washing, carpet extraction, pest control, repairs, restoration, and other specialty services are not included unless specifically stated as an available service.
Final Scope of Service
Requested services are reviewed during the consultation. If the condition of the home or requested work differs significantly from what was originally discussed, we'll address any necessary changes to the scope or pricing before additional work is performed.
